Roughening

In preparation for the coating process the surfaces must be roughened at intervals to improve adhesiveness. This also leads to a more homogeneous surface.

In principal, different abrasive tools or units can be used for roughening,. However it is essential to create as little heat as possible so as not to upset the geometry of the workpiece. LOEWER offers a range of machines specially designed for this task.
