Grinding rectangular tubes

When grinding thin rectangular tubes with abrasive belt units it is important to minimize the heat input as the tubes tend to bend easily when grinded.To achieve this LOEWER offers a floating head system which allows the abrasive belt to move out of they way if the grinding pressure gets too high.

Depending on the initial quality of the surface and the end result required, one to four abrasive belt units for either wet or dry processing can be used. Preparing for chrome plating, for example, would require a four unit machine such as the Löwer SmartGrinder for wet grinding.
